Years ago I picked up at Brimfield or at some flea market a really interesting lot of what seem to be experimental samples. They are photograms of leaves, flowers, strings and other things, which the designer/artist then went back into with paints. They might be ideas for fabric designs (?). On the backs of some appears a rubber-stamped logo for the "Original Designing Company, Inc." Some bear the name "Rohner" with an address in Forest Hills, NY. They strike me as perhaps being from the 1930s or 1940s. Now and again I have tried without success to find out anything further about these items or their creator(s) . . . if anybody can supply me with additional insight or information, I would be most appreciative!
