Trade card, totally Art Nouveau in style. Most trade cards are not in the Nouveau style, which was in vogue between about 1890 and 1905.
By the 1890s, trade cards were beginning to go out of stye; and, with trade cards as with all printed materials, earlier styles tend to persist even as
new styles catch on in the culture at large. So, in the 1890s, the majority of trade cards continued the design styles of the 1880s.
