This is a 9" tall early (ground top) aqua screw-top bottle with an unusual embossed warning:
"ALL PERSONS ARE WARNED AGAINST USING THIS BOTTLE FOR MAPLE SYRUP"
Leslie, Dunham and Company of Vermont produced a maple and cane sugar syrup under the name of Green Mountain Syrup.
Presumably this warning was an attempt to keep others from reusing their bottles by filling with some other maple syrup.
