ALMANAC

From an 1836 broadside promoting an almanac, a wacky font I've always loved. "The type was designed by Caslon, dating to the 1821 cut  in metal,

as Grotesque Italian, later in 1837 Boston Type and Stereotype Foundry cut the same style in wood, named simply Italian." Greg Ruffa
